Tinubu Reinstates Nigeria's Old National Anthem with New Bill
President Bola Tinubu has enacted a law to revive Nigeria’s old national anthem, originally used from October 1, 1960, until it was changed in 1978. The bill was approved by the National Assembly and officially signed into law on Wednesday. Nigerians are now encouraged to reacquaint themselves with the anthem that was played during Tinubu's arrival for a joint legislative session.
